Seasonally

We work (and live) in Somers Point, a small town in south Jersey on Great Egg Harbor Bay,  about 30 minutes south of Atlantic City.  Tourism plays a big role in our seasonal business, peaking in the July and August vacation months.  Winters are slower months for most businesses at the shore, including ours.

 

Consequently, over the past 20 years, we have tailored our hours to match the customs of our patrons.  We close just before the Christmas holiday in December and reopen before Valentine’s Day in early February.  From February through Memorial Day in May, we are open from Wednesday through Saturday, serving lunch and dinner.  We open on Sunday mornings for breakfast.

 

We open six days, Tuesday through Sunday, in June — serving lunch and dinner daily and breakfast on Sunday mornings.  July and August finds us open seven days a week.

 

Right after Labor Day in September, we’re back to six days a week, closing on Mondays.  We’re also a ‘football’ family, so after breakfast on Sunday, we close at 1.00 pm to watch the Eagles and Packers just like all of you!

 

We cut back our hours as November looms, closing on Monday and Tuesday.  And, following the end of our normally robust, holiday party schedule in December, we close for our winter recess.
