Owned and operated by the Hieb family since 1987, The Doc’s Place offers inside and, seasonally permitted, alfresco dining in a luxury yacht basin - Harbour Cove Marina.
We are open 11 months of the year (closed in January) and serve a traditional breakfast on Sundays, and lunch and dinner daily. Luncheons include jumbo lump crab meat Caesar salad – delicious; cheese steaks and Kobi burgers – the best around; and a selection of hot and cold deli sandwiches. Dinners embrace fresh fish; steaks and chops, shell fish - shrimp, clams and mussels; and accompaniments such as pomme de terre frits, fresh cooked pasta and seasonal vegetables from New Jersey & the world!
Our bar introduced this area to 7½ ounce martinis and Manhattans, poured to a meniscus! Our wine list is an oenophilist’s delight.
Our limited seating Thanksgiving Day dinner is legendary. Our private parties are spectacular. Try us — again!

The Doc’s Place is the host site for the Rotary Club of Somers Point. They hold their weekly luncheon each Wednesday at 12:15pm.
